About The Author
Constantin ROMAN was a Scholar of Peterhouse, the oldest Cambridge College, founded in 1284. He took a PhD in Geophysics under the guidance of Sir Edward Bullard, who descended in a direct line from a series of distinguished physicists, all the way to Sir Isaac Newton.
Roman is a Professor Honoris Causa, Commander of the Order of Merit, International Adviser and Member of the Society of Authors (Great Britain).
His Romanian and Cambridge memoirs were published by the Institute of Physics, London in 2000: Continental Drift.
